The city centre is within easy reach, as is Grey’s Hospital, Town Bush Office Park, Queen Elizabeth Park, Royal Show Grounds, and Liberty Midlands Mall. The N3 is only a few minutes away, which will take you to the Midlands Meander, Durban, or the Drakensberg.

How to Get Here

From Johannesburg

  1. Pass Hilton, down the N3 highway to Pietermaritzburg.
  2. Take the Peter Brown Drive off-ramp.
  3. Turn left at the T-junction, travel 800 meters, 1st turn right into Davenport Road.
  4. Down the hill for 900 meters.
  5. Cross over Braithwaite Road.
  6. Turn right on Inman Place.
  7. Montrose Guesthouse is Number 4.

From Durban

  1. Take the Exit 82 off-ramp (Armitage / Sanctuary Road).
  2. Stay on the left of the off-ramp.
  3. Pass the vehicle showrooms to the circle, take the 3rd exit (Town Bush Road).
  4. Travel straight on for 3kms, past Grey’s Hospital & the cross-roads at Montgomery Drive (traffic lights).
  5. At the next set of traffic lights, travel straight on for 300 meters.
  6. Turn left into Hawkins Road.
  7. At the T-junction turn right into Frances Staniland Road, over the hump and take the 1st turn left into Davenport Road.
  8. 150 meters on, Turn left on Inman Place.
  9. Montrose Guesthouse is House Number 4.
